Lets start 2016 better off than 2015 ended! For the first day of the year we are again looking at the Australian A-League.

Western Sydney Wanderers FC are on top of the A-League after winning 8 of their last 9 games. Adelaide United have played 0-1-4 in their away games this season while Western Sydney Wanderers FC have a very strong 5-0-1 record at home. Western Sydney Wanderers FC should be the better team here, and I've chosen to spice it up with an Asian handicap of -1.

Central Coast Mariners have lost their 6 last games. So far in the season their record stands at 1-2-9 and 11 games without a win. Wellington Phoenix should be the better team here, but since they have performed poorly away from home I have chosen to play the game with a handicap, giving half the bet in return in case of a draw.

Asian Handicap - Atletico Madrid: -1.25 at 2.23

Rayo Vallecano has only managed to pick up 1 of the last possible 15 points. Even without the 9 goals they conceded against Real Madrid in the last round they are the team that has most goals against them in the League. Atletico Madrid have won 9 of their last 10 games in all competitions. I predict a one-sided game with more than one goal for Atletico Madrid.


Sunderland vs Liverpool, England, Premier League 20:45 CET
Asian Handicap - Liverpool: -1 at 2.18

Sunderland come from 4 straight losses in the English Premier League. They are placed 19th of 20 and are the team with most conceded goals in the League. Liverpool looked more like themselves in their 1-0 win over Leicester in the last round. If they play in the same attacking style against a very poor Sunderland team they will probably win with more than one goal.

Leicester did put in the hard work as expected, but we still went on another miss. For Wednesday we have to look to a more unknown league to find the tips of the day.

El Dakhleya to win at 1.95

Ittihad Al Shorta have yet to win in the league this season after 0-5-3. El Dakhleya on the other hand have gone unbeaten all season with 6-3-0. Nice value here on El Dakhleya to win at 1.95. 


Ghazl Al Mehalla vs El Geish, Egypt, Premier League 13:30 CET
El Geish to win at 2.00

Ghazl Al Mehalla have as Ittihad Al Shorta, also yet to find a victory this season after 0-3-7 in matches and 2:16 in goals. El Geish is a rather mediocre team so far this season, but against this kind of poor opposition there should be value to be had at a bet on them to win at 2.00.

A disappointing day. None of the English games went our way today. For Tuesday there is only one game of interest -


Leicester City vs Manchester City, England, Premier League 20:45 CET
Leicester City to win at 4.15

Leicester City lost at Anfield against Liverpool in the last round and I still don't think they are getting the credit they deserve and therefor find huge value in a bet on them to win at 4.15. I believe Manchester City are the better team, with better players, but at the same time I think that Leicester City has a better morale and that their players have more fight in them than Manchester City's. Manchester City have struggled away from home this season with 3-2-3 and I predict that Leicester City will win this game way more often than the 25% that is needed for this to be a bet with a positive return.

Today wasn't a good day. The holidays are still here and I have selected 3 new tips from England for Monday.


Southend United vs Millwall, England, League 1 14:00 CET
Southend United to win at 2.55

Southend United are fighting for a play-off spot and have gathered 13 points in their last 5 games. Millwall on the other hand have lost 4 of their last 5 league games. Due to recent form my tip is Southend United to win at 2.55


Crystal Palace vs Swansea City, England, Premier League 16:00 CET
Crystal Palace to win at 2.10

Crystal Palace are placed fifth in the Premier League and are maybe on course to a Champions League Spot. Swansea City have only managed to win one of their away games this season, and have only won 2 of their last 14 league games. I put my bet on Crystal Palace to win at 2.10


West Bromwich Albion vs Newcastle United, England, Premier League 16:00 CET
Newcastle United to win at 3.70

Both teams are struggling this season. West Bromwich Albion have 5 straight games without a win. Newcastle have shown signs of improvement. They have been unlucky in their last two games and have gathered 7 of 15 possible points in their last 5 games. Even viewed as a completely open game, 33%-34%-33%, there is value to be had in a bet on Newcastle United to win at 3.70.

 

Value Bets December 27, 2015

It didn't go our way in the English Premier League, but both tips in the lower divisions were a hit and we ended the day on a positive ROI. Not much to choose from this Sunday. I have picked out two tips from the Italian Serie B.


Brescia vs Ternana, Italy, Serie B 15:00 CET
Brescia to win at 2.05

Brescia have yet to lose at home in the league ths season with 6-3-0. They have only 2 losses in their 17 last league games. Ternana have lost 7 of their 10 away games this season. Brescia is in the fight for promotion, and against average Ternana I tip them to win at 2.05.


Modena vs Novara, Italy, Serie B 15:00 CET
Novara to win at 2.65

Modena is fighting to avoid relegation whilst Novara is fighting for promotion. Novara is coming from 4-1-0 in their last five and 12-4-4 overall. Novara should be the better team with a big margin. My bet is Novara to win at 2.65.

Both games in the Italian Serie B ended goalless. We're still on a positive ROI overall, and with no games of interest 24th or 25th of December, I've selected 4 value tips from England on Boxing day.

Liverpool vs Leicester City, England, Premier League 16:00 CET
Leicester City to win at 3.85

Liverpool were really poor in their 3-0 loss against Watford last weekend. They are up and down in performace, but against Leicter City half measures just wont cut it. Leicter City is still going strong, topping the Premier League and are still undefeated away from home (6-3-0). I guess they still aren't getting the credit they deserve, 3,85 times your bet for them to win is just insane.  Even at conservative 30%-30%-40% it's huge value, and I'm seeing them as around 50% favorites in this game.


Colchester United vs Southend United, England, League 1 16:00 CET
Southend United to win at 2.45


Colchester united have ended 4 of 10 home games in a draw, and Southend United have ended 5 of their 10 away games as a draw. But looking at the most recent games Colchester United are coming from 6 straight losses in the league. At the same time Southend United are undefeated in their last 7 league games. A rather high chance for it to end in a draw, but at 2.45 I find value in betting on Southen United to win.




Dagenham & Redbridge vs Cambridge United, England, League 2 16:00 CET
Cambridge United to win at 2,20

Dagenham & Redbridge are at the bottom of League 2 with 2-7-13. Cambridge United are on the middle after 8-6-8. Cambridge aren't the best team in the league, but they are only 6 points away from a play-off spot. In addition Dagenham & Redbridge are so poor that I find value in Cambridge United to win at 2,20.


Southampton vs Arsenal, England, Premier League 20:45 CET
Arsenal to win at 2.15

Southampton have rally fallen out of form with only a single point gathered from their last 5 league games. On the other hand Arsenal are one of the few consistent teams in the league, and look like contenders for the title. I see arsenal as more than 50% favorites to win this game, and find value in a bet on them to win at 2.15.

Value Bets December 23, 2015

A good day with two out of two correct tips yesterday! No games of interest on Tuesday, so I have selected two tips for Wednesday, December 23.

Novara vs Cesena, Italy, Serie B 20:30 CET
Novara to win at 2.00

Cesena is a team above avarage in Serie B. They have however collect 25 of their 30 points at home and Novara is the form team of the league, winning 11 of their last 13 games. I don't see why Novara shouldn't just continue as they have done so far. Novara to win at 2.00 is my tip for the match.

Crotone vs Trapani, Italy, Serie B 20:30 CET
Crotone to win at 1.90

I find 1.90 to be on the low side, not very exiting, but Crotone is on top of the Serie B and have played 8-1-0 at home. At the same time Trapani has only managed to win one of their away games so far this season. On a day with few games to be played, I put my bet on Crotone to win at 1.90.

Value Bets December 21, 2015

Only one of Sundays tips came through, resulting in a break even weekend. For Monday I have selected two games -

Osmanlispor FK vs Besiktas, Turkey, Super Lig 19:00 CET
Besiktas to win at 2.05

Osmanlispor FK has the worst home form in the league with their 1-1-5. At the same time Besiktas has the best away form in the league with 6-1-0. I see Besiktas as big favorites in this game and find huge value in a bet on Besiktas to win at 2.05.

Arsenal vs Manchester City, England, Premier League 21:00 CET
Arsenal to win at 2.30

A match between 2nd and 3rd place in the English Premier League. Arsenal are in great form, and I think they are slight favorites at home against Manchester City. My tip is Arsenal to win at 2.30.

 

Value Bets December 20, 2015

On Saturday only the tip on Leicester was a hit. But even with two misses it was enough to end yet another day with a overall positive return.

Lots of exiting games to chose from this Sunday, I am suggesting four bets for the day  -


Reading vs Blackburn Rovers, England, Championship 16:00 CET
Blackburn Rovers to win at 3.40

Reading has only managed to win one of their last 10 games, an are coming from a streak of 4 losses. Blackburn Rovers on the other hand have played their 8 last games without losing. They are two teams close to each other in the middle of the table. Even away from home, due to Readings poor form, I find value in a bet on Blackburn Rovers to win at 3.40.



Tondela vs Vitoria de Setubal, Portugal, Primeira Liga 17:00 CET
Vitoria de Setubal to win at 2.65

Toleda has lost 12 of their 15 games played this season. They have only managed to pick up 2 points from their last possible 30 and find themselves on the bottom of the league. Vitoria de Setubal has 4-6-3 from their 13 league games so far this season. Even with an average team like this, its clear value at 2.65 to beat Tondela.



Swansea City vs West Ham United, England, Premier League 17:00 CET
West Ham United to win at 3.80

Two teams that both are struggling with their form in the Premier League. Its an open match, but the crisis is bigger in Swansea City and in addition West Ham United have won 4 of their 8 games away from home in the Premier league this season. They aren't big favorites, but at 3.80 its well worth a bet on West Ham United to win.


CFR Cluj vs Dinamo Bucuresti, Romania, Liga I 19:30 CET
Dinamo Bucuresti to win at 2.80

This is a meeting between the bottom and top of the form table. CFR Cluj have 0-2-3 in their last 5 in the league whilst their guests have 4-1-0. I see Dinamo Bucuresti as favorites, and find value in them winning at 2.80

Value Bets December 19, 2015

Hit on one of yesterdays two tips. Cordoba got their first of two red cards already in the 13th minute and lost 1-2. Pogon Szczecin won their game 1-0, thereby giving a positive return on the day.

Saturday has loads of games to chose from, but I'm sticking to the English leagues today -


Everton vs Leicester City, England, Premier League 16:00 CET
Leicester City to win at 3.50

Everton have played their 8 last games without a loss, an probably would have deserved to win a couple of their latest draws. Leicester City is also on fire and is topping the Premier League after collecting 23 out of the last 27 possible points. I predict a tight game, but even so, at 3.50 I find it a good bet. Leicester has an enormous morale and workload, and I see them as slight favorites.



Northampton Town vs Portsmouth, England, League 2 16:00 CET
Northampton Town to win at 3.40

A fight in the top of the table. Northampton Town has 9 wins and 1 draw in their last 10 games in all competitions. Portsmouth is doing quite good as well, but the given form of Northampton Town at their home turf at 3.40 is clearly value.


Newcastle United vs Aston Villa, England, Premier League 18:30 CET
Newcastle United to win at 2.00

After 16 games Aston Villa has only one win and 6 points. They have to start picking up points, but they have had to do so quite a while without that being motivation enough to change their grim reality. Newcastle United haven't performed much better this season either, but after the comeback against Tottenham last week they now have 3 wins in their last 5 games, and it will be a long awaited positive atmosphere in the team and at the stadium at kickoff. Aston Villa, as they look now, is a team Newcastle United should win against. I'm seeing them as more then 50% favorites and thereby finding value at 2.00.

Elche vs Cordoba, Spain, Segunda Division 20:30 CET

Cordoba to win at 3.75

Elche is on the middle of the table, picking up points here and there with 5-6-5 after 17 rounds. Cordoba is on top of the league, with 3 wins in their 3 last games. Cordoba is far from clear cut favourites, but at 3.75 on a win here is clearly some value to collect.

Wisla Krakow vs Pogon Sczcecin, Poland, Ekstraklasa 20:30 CET

Pogon Sczcecin to win at 3.00

Wisla Krakow is only 5 points clear from being dead last in the league and have only managed to pick up a single point from the last 5 games. Pogon Sczcecin have a 3 game win streak behind them. Resent form on these two teams is more than enough to go for an away win at 3.00.
